Creative first released the Vado. Creative's videocam had a sleeker body, a larger screen, and a removable rechargeable battery. It was also a lot less expensive than Pure Digital's offering. The Vado proved to be our favorite entry in the space—that is, until Kodak brought HD into the game with the release of the Zi6, the camera that eventually took home our first Editors' Choice in the category.
