Altos R520

The Altos R520 delivers support for industry-leading eight SAS/SATA hard disk drives and up to two Quad-Core or Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor in a space-optimized 1U footprint. Featuring integrated multi-level RAID support and a high-efficiency 650 W power supply with optional redundancy, the Altos R520 ensures maximum data availability while keeping server-running costs to a minimum.

Supports up to eight 2.5" hot-swap SAS/SATA HDDs for up to 1.28 TB of storage capacity
Passive mid-plane: SATA S/W RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10; or active mid-plane: SAS S/W RAID 0, 1, 10 offer optimal file integrity
SAS H/W RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and 50 support available via RAID cache and iButton upgrade (optional)
